Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 23: The recent killing of six militants in Bijbehara in Kashmir valley is the reflective of the firm resolve of the security forces, army in particular to clear the state of the forces which have been posing threat to the lives and properties of the state and innocent civilians and members of the forces. Their action on those carrying gun is highly appreciable and every jawan deserve salute for risking his life for the cause of the nation. This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta.
While terming these killings as a big success, Gupta said that more than 200 militants have been killed this year and the morale of our security forces is very high. Gupta lauded the forces for being alert, saying they have scuttled Pakistan's nefarious designs. He said that more such operations are needed to clear over ground and underground elements involved in supporting anti-India forces and involved in the innocent civilian's killings in the valley.
Kavinder Gupta while commenting on the peaceful conduct of ULB elections and ongoing Panchayat polls, said that the role of security forces have been splendid in creating an atmosphere of security among the masses as a result of which there have been high turnout of voters despite boycott calls by regional political parties.
He said that people rejected boycott call and displayed their desire to strengthen democracy at grass root level, thus giving a clear message that gun cannot silence the voice of people and that gone are the days when dictates were followed. Gupta said that Hurriyat leaders on the directions from their patrons from Pakistan are desperate to destabilize the state. Hurriyat has been left isolated in the state, as more and more people are participating the ongoing Panchayat elections in Kashmir, he claimed.
