Srinagar, Nov 23 : Militants on Friday evening hurled a hand grenade towards the house of a Congress leader in Tral in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, official sources said.
They said a grenade was hurled towards the house of Congress leader Surinder Singh Channi, in Monghama Tral this evening. The grenade exploded in the compound of the house, sound of which was heard in the entire area.
However, no one was injured, they said, adding the area was immediately cordoned off and a massive operation has been launched against the militants responsible for the attack. |
