Wah ustaad!

Early Times Report
srinagar, Dec 1: The newly elected president of a Municipal Committee (MC) in south Kashmir crossed all limits of his sanctioned powers, when he asked a top school education official to accompany him during inspection of the schools.
Abdul Waheed Bhat, the MC president, Ashmuqam, wrote a letter to the Zonal Education Officer, Ashmuqam vide no: MC/AISH/18/1057-59 dated 30-11-2018, which reads: "The undersigned shall inspect schools operating within the limits of Ashmuqam town on 01/12/2018 at to review their functioning. You are accordingly asked to accompany the undersigned during inspection and intimate all schools as well."
The MC president has also asked the ZEO Pahalgam to accompany him during inspection and intimate the limits of MC Ashmuqam.
The letter has gone viral on social media, where many people have expressed their opinions and resentment over this order.
"That is the beauty of democracy, where a person who was elected as president of MC Ashmuqam has written a letter to ZEO about his inspection of schools functioning within the limits of MC Ashmuqam", a netizen wrote sarcastically on social media.
The general public expressed their resentment and said that the MC president can't spell the School Education department, as his so-called order is full of mistakes. The MC president is reportedly an under matric.
"Surprisingly, the so-called president of MC Ashmuqam wants to inspect schools to check the education system, and irony is that the school doesn't fall under his jurisdiction," the netizens said.
They said that president MC Ashmuqam has no authority to inspect the schools, as his job is to see sanitation and cleanness, and added that he must have taken review of the insanitary condition in the schools.
Nobody other that the authorities of School Education department can check or inspect the schools, that too with proper permission of ZEO concerned.
While making joke of this order-cum-notice, some people on social media said that this is the "monkey rule (Waander Raj)" as predicted by Kashmir's patron saint Sheikh Noor-Ud Din Noorani.
If sources are to be believed, Waheed Bhat was an employee of Auqaf Committee/Ziyarat (Shrine) Ashmuqam, after which he resigned from the shrine over some issues.
He was declared winner from ward no. 13 of Tulhard, Ashmuqam, sources informed Early Times. They said that he was an independent candidate and later joined the BJP.
