KV celebrates Grand Parents Day

Hiranagar, Dec 16: The Grand Parents Day and KVS Foundation Day were celebrated in Kendriya Vidyalaya Hiranagar with abundance of respect and admiration, on Saturday.
A large number of grandparents of the students marked their presence on the occasion whereas; Ex-MLC Subash Gupta was the chief guest on the occasion. The tiny tots of primary wing presented a bonanza of cultural activities to entertain their loving grandparents. Te grandparents also relived their childhood by performing various activities.
The children were also very excited to watch their grandparents participating in the games and cheered them whole heartedly. The happiness ushering in the faces of all grandparents who made the most of this wonderful day with happiness was remarkable. The grandparents highly appreciated the efforts made by the school administration.
Ex-MLC Subash Gupta applauded the efforts of Principal Nitin Dev and Staff of school in providing quality education to the students. He ensured his full support for the smooth functioning of the school. Subash Gupta also raised the demand of local for starting double sections of the starting class so that more students, can get admission in the school.
Gupta appreciating the sports curriculum of the school said that he is feeling proud to say that it is the result of dedicated efforts of the school that one of the students Vansh Khadyal of 8th class has been selected for Cricket at National level representing J&K.
Principal in his address thanked grandparents for their presence and for their continuous support and guidance to children. He also shared his vision of making KV Hiranagar in top three schools of Jammu region which is currently at 5th place. Responding to demand of starting double section, Principal said that the same is already under process. The event closed with the grand finale of the celebration by all the participants followed by lunch.
