Kishtwar, Dec 16: Police claimed to have arrested a person, accused in supplying arms to militants of Hizbul Mujahiuddin.
The accused has been identified as Zahoor Ahmad Kamal @ Nika Kamal S/O Wali Mohammad R/O Kamal Mohalla Kishtwar.
As per the police statement, the accused is wanted in case FIR 182/2018 u/s 120 B /121-A/. 7/27 IAA 4/5 Explosive substance Act 3/13 Unlawaful Activites Act added that the accused had supplied one Pistol , Grenades, 3 magazines of AK 47 and 90 Rds to Rameez Wani of Dachhan, one of the active militant of District Kishtwar, presently in Judical custody at District Jail Kishtwar.
Police further stated that the accused was also wanted in FIR No. 307 under Enemy Agent Ordinance, Unlawful Activities Act.
The police said that with his arrest, all five accused wanted in Case FIR 182/2018 are behind the bars. Police said that the accused was evading arrest ever since the case was registered in July 2018 added that they are hopeful for more breakthrough about the terror networks operating in Kishtwar District. |
