Health, Education sectors neglected by BJP Government: Dr Manohar
12/28/2018 8:37:34 PM
Early Times Report
Hiranagar, Dec 28: Former minister and President DCC Kathua Dr. Manohar Lal Sharma along with Subash Gupta Ex MLC addressed huge gathering of people at village Tanda of Hiranagar tehsil.
While speaking Dr Manohar Lal Sharma lambasted previous BJP govt for neglecting education and health sectors in state. He said there is no single recruitment of teachers and masters under SSA & RET in last 4 years and further the ones who have completed more than 5 years of tenure under RET are waiting for regularization. SSA & RMSA teachers and masters are without salaries from past 6 months.
He pointed out in order to strengthen the education system schemes like SSA & RMSA were created under UPA rule but present NDA sabotaged the said schemes intentionally by doing funds curtailment in some projects . Same is the story under NHRM scheme. He said in order to give better health facilities under UPA ,National Rural mission and National urban mission were merged to form NHRM under which many medical colleges, new type primary health centers, community health centers, Sub district hospitals were created and upgraded but BJP government failed to carry out the development works started by congress government.
To name few he said Hiranagar CHC was upgraded to 100 beds by Ghulam Nabi Azab but after four years no work has been done on that. Dr Sharma said that during tenure of Ghulam Nabi Azad Kathua distt got 7 new degree colleges, university campus, Medical college where as on the contrary BJP government even failed to expedite work on such projects and no new announcement made. Manohar Lal Sharma further requested Governor to kindly focus on pending projects in Education and Health sectors especially so that people can get maximum benefits.
Also speaking on the occasion Subash Gupta Ex MLC said that local MLA and BJP has betrayed people of border belt of Hiranagar.
