| Drug peddler held with heroin | | |

Jammu, Dec 28: In its continuous drive against the drug menace, Talab Tillo Police arrested one drug peddler and recovered 30 grams heroin (Chitta) from his possession.
Police spokesman said that a Police Party of Talab Tillo headed by Vikrant Singh-Incharge police post Talab Tillo laid a naka. During naka, police stopped one person on scooty without registration number and while search, police recovered 30 grams of heroin (Chitta) from the possession of said person namely Sahil Malik of New Plot, said spokesman.
The said drug peddler was arrested on the spot and contraband item was also seized. In this regard a case has been registered at Police Post Talab Tillo and further investigation is on to ascertain source and destination of the consignment.
