Jammu, Dec 28: In a petition filed by BK Khajura seeking quashment of Order No. JKSPDC/CJ/36 of 2018 dated 13.12.2018, through the medium of which, Prem Nath under the garb of holding the charge of Chief Geologist, Geological Wing, Power Development Corporation has been illegally placed against the post of Chief Geologist, even when respondent No. 4 is working as Assistant Executive Engineer on substantive basis in Public Health Engineering and at present posted as Incharge Chief Engineer CI&D, Srinagar in JKSPDC, Justice Sindhu Sharma of J&K High Court Jammu Wing after hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma for the petitioner observed the contention of the petitioner is that respondent No 4 is neither qualified nor eligible to hold the said post in terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Power Develop-ment Department Geology (Gazetted) Service Recru-itment Rules, 1979.
HC after hearing Adv Abhinav Sharma at length issued notice to the respondents and directed that impugned order No. JKSPDC/CJ/36 of 2018 dated 13.12.2018 shall stay. |
