ISIS taking birth in India in the garb of Harkat-ul-Harb-e-Islam
12/28/2018 9:30:57 PM
That the most dreaded terrorist outfit, ISIS, is taking rebirth in India, including Jammu and Kashmir in the garb of Harkat-ul Harb-e-Islam. And the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has succeeded in, so far, nabbing 10 of its activists who were carving out their hideouts in north India, especially UP, New Delhi and Kashmir. The National Investigation Agency has detained 10 people in connection with its probe into a new ISIS module which was allegedly planning to carry out blasts in north India, especially in the national capital. The agency conducted searches across 16 locations in Uttar Pradesh and New Delhi in connection with its probe into the new ISIS module called 'Harkat ul Harb e Islam. And after the announcement of he US on leaving Afghanistan there could be a possibility for their ISIS and Al Qaeda to take firm roots in Kashmir. And from the Kashmir valley terrorists could sneak into UP and Delhi.
It is not for the first time that ISIS is taking its rebirth in the garb of Harkat-ul Harb-e-Islam. And the new plan is to cause confusion among the Indian security forces and intelligence agencies. But a thorough probe is needed to capture all the activists of the ISIS before they carry out bomb blasts in various states in the north. And the Central Government should not suggest to the men of NIA to let off innocent civilians and thereby avoid the blame of human rights violations. These blames help to thrive militancy in Kashmir and is raising its head in Punjab. The security forces have recently carried out operations in several areas including Pathankot where several activists of militant organizations were held.
The security forces should not adopt a policy similar to the one they have adopted in Kashmir where they are under instructions to end terrorism without killing terrorists. It may be impossible for not killing activists of ISIS and Al Qaeda to ensure threat from these two dreaded outfits. And it is better for giving AFSPA to the NIA and other security agencies to tame their activists of ISIS and Al Qaeda. Once the US has finally decided to pull out its troops from Afghanistan peace in Kashmir could be further derailed. And before the final decision of Washington the Indian security agencies and the intelligence agencies have to cooperate for smashing the network and hideouts of the ISIS and Al Qaeda. If there is any delay peace could be derailed in most parts of north India, including Punjab, UP and Kashmir besides the union capital.
