Jodhamal students shine in f1 regional season 2

Jammu, Dec 28: Jodhamal Public School in collaboration with Time of Sports is the only STEM approved school in J&K and North of Delhi for last two years.
STEM program is an International school based program to enhance the creative and engineering skills of students in SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING and MATH. The STEM Program is multi-disciplinary challenge in which teams of students aged 9 to 19 deploy CAD/CAM software to collaborate design, analyse, manufacture test and then race miniature compressed air powered balsa wood F-1 cars.
Three teams Blue Bird, Wheelocity and Silver Foxes participated in the Regional F-1 in school challenge held at Sun City school, Gurugram and showcased their technical skills and innovative thinking in the competition and made a mark by winning two trophies. The team Wheelocity won innovative thinking trophy and Silver Foxes won best pit display trophy.
Some of the other schools who participated in this prestigious competition were the Ram, Tagore international School, East of Kailash and Vasant vihar, Lotus valley international school Gurugram, Lotus valley greater Noida,DPS Ghaziabad, Genesis, Ambience Public School, Scottish High International School. Out of 52 participating teams 17 could make up to finals.We are proud to announce that their two teams wheelocity and silver foxes qualified for the Nationals and now would be ready to face challenges on a big platform i.e F1 Nationals in April 2019 where the Jammu lads will encounter competition with The Doon School, Mayo College, Welham Boys, Jain International and many more National Level teams and they are very sure to make a mark in the Nationals as well.
