Civil Defence holds meeting

Jammu, Dec 28: A meeting with Civil Defence wardens was held under the chairperson of Anita Pawar, Dy. SP, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu at Regional Civil Defence Control Centre Parade Jammu.
The main objective of the meeting was to gear up and highlight Civil Defence activities in their areas as well as to aware the public with regard to role and importance of Civil Defence organization during any eventuality.
Pawar welcomed the participants and wished a very happy New year to the volunteers and prayed for their well being and sought suggestions from the wardens for the strengthening Civil Defence organization. She listened their grievance assured them to bring their problems/grievances into the notice of the higher authorities. She also laid stress upon to gear up civil defence activities in the city and rural areas.
Parmjit Kumar, Chief Warden, Jagdish Kumar, Vindo Kumar Sharma and Santosh Mangotra, Divisional Wardens, Lalita Sharma, Dy. Divisional Warden, S. Harcharan Singh, Vijay Singh Pathania, S. Harbbhajan Singh, Anwar Ali & Kuldeep Kumar, Post Wardens and number of other wardens/volunteers of Civil Defence Jammu were attending the meeting.
At the end of meeting, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu & Sh. Paramjit Kumar thanked the wardens/volunteers for their participation.
