If Manmohan Singh was the 'weakest' PM, how 'strong' did PM Modi prove?

Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 2: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made it explicitly clear that Pakistan won't mend it's ways after just one war.
"Pakistan will never improve on the basis of one war. That nation will still take some time to improve. All PMs of India, across all parties never opposed dialogue with Pakistan. But, can we hear anything in the midst of bombs? Today, terror supporting Pakistan is isolated," the Prime Minister's Office tweeted, quoting Modi.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "The Prime Minister has acknowledged that Pakistan won't mend it ways and one war is not enough to teach neighboring country a lesson. The BJP has been ruling the country for the past four and half years. It could have fought as many wars as it wanted to dismantle the terror infrastructure but it did not do so."
He said that now general elections are just few months away and the BJP is trying to up the ante to just tell the people that "Pakistan is the biggest enemy" of India but it needs more time to tame the neighboring country. "It has been established beyond doubt that Pakistan has been supporting separatists and terrorists and adding fuel to fire in Jammu and Kashmir. The BJP had claimed that once it comes into power it would ensure that Pakistan is a given a befitting reply and terrorists are shown their right place, but it did not happen," he added.
A Kashmir watcher said, "If BJP wanted it could have taught Pakistan a lesson by giving a free hand to Army to cross the Line of Control (LoC) and teach terrorists a lesson. The terror infrastructure is still intact in Pakistan occupied Kashmir and the leaders of the terrorist groups are busy in preparing the terrorists which can bleed India."
He said, "BJP should introspect and see what it did for the people living near the Line of Control (LoC). They have been facing the brunt of ceasefire violations for the past four and half years. Maximum truce violations have taken place in the areas which fall in Jammu region."
A politician said that when the BJP was in the Opposition it used to allege that the then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is the "weakest" Prime Minister that India had since 1947. "Someone needs to ask them that despite BJP being strong and having majority in the Lok Sabha why it failed to act against Pakistan," the politician added.
