Jammu, Jan 8: In order to address the issues, being faced by the members of PDP labour cell, a meeting was held here today.
The meeting was chaired by PDP State President, Women Wing, Safina Beigh, in which other party workers also participated.
During the meeting, PDP leader interacted with the members of labour cell, who raised their issues including the compensation, delay in pension cases, long working hours of labours and others.
Speaking on the occasion, PDP State President, Women Wing, Safina Beigh said, there are many issues which are being faced by the labour class and as being the party leader of women wing, it is our responsibility to try our best to solve their issues.
She further highlighted the works done by the PDP President, former CM Mehbooba Mufti, and said, she has done a lot in the field of development in Jammu and Kashmir.
She is very keen to solve the issues of people and on her instructions we hold meeting in the various parts of the state. Our motive is to address the issues of our people.
During the function, PDP State President, Labour Wing Rafiq Malik also highlighted the policies of the party and expressed gratitude to the PDP State President, Women Wing Safina Beigh to give her precious time to interact with the people of labour class of their party.
Among others who were present on the occasion included, Ch Hussain Ali Waffa, RK Bali, RP Singh, Varun Bali, Ajay Raina, Babar Mughal, Vikas Verma, Mulkh Raj and Sheekal Ahmed. |
