MENDHAR, Jan 8: Several villages from Balakote area of district Poonch are without water supply for about three to four weeks.
The villagers from Behroot, Balakote, Sandote, Lower Dhar Galoon, Morha Kallar and Sangiot alleged that PHE pipes are lying broken at many places while water pumping station is also out of order at Behroot and Suralla.
The concerned authorities have failed to restore water supply despite repeated requests. Sarpanch Upper Dhargloon Er. Majid Khatana appealed and intervention of Chief Engineer PHE Jammu into the matter. |
