BBIA demands extension of state package of incentives

Jammu, Jan 8: A meeting of Bari Brahmana Industries Association was held today at BBIA Bhawan under the President ship of Lalit Mahajan President BBIA in presence of Suresh Mahajan Sr. Vice President, Ajay Langer General Secretary, Viraaj Malhotra Treasurer BBIA to discuss the Extension of DIPP Package of Incentives to J&K Industrial Units which includes Income Tax Reimbursement, Transport Incentives, Central share of IGST/CGST and Employment Incentives. Members present in the meeting conveyed their heartiest thanks to Narendra Modi Prime
Minister of India, Arun Jaitley, Union Finance Minister, Suresh Prabu, Union Industries & Commerce Minister, Governor Satya Pal Malik, K.K. Sharma, Advisor to Governor & Principal Secretary Industries & Commerce Department for the Extension of DIPP Package of Incentives to Industrial Units located in J&K to all the New Units & Units under Substantial Expansion. It is pertinent to mention here that during our various meetings held with the then Popular Government it was promised that the State Fiscal Incentives shall be extended immediately after the Extension of Central Package of Incentives as at present very limited Industrial growth reported in Micro & Small Scale Sector after 07/07/2017 due to non availability of State Fiscal Incentives to New Units and Units Under Substantial Expansion and it is the need of hour to extend all the State Fiscal Incentives to new MSE,s Units and Units Under Substantial which also includes the i.e. Reimbursement of CGST/ SGST, 5% Budgetary support on Taxable Turnover and Freight Subsidy for Intra-State Sale and 100% Freight Subsidy on Inter-State Sale up to Destination instead of 1000KM rider.
