1/8/2019 11:52:17 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 8: The Pakistani Army has opened fires on border posts in Poonch region in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
This is a clear violation of the ceasefire for fifth time in a week, sources said.
The Pak Army has fired on forward posts along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said.
The sources said Pakistani troops resorted to small arms firing on the forward posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch sector's Gulpur and Khadi Karmara areas. The Indian troops retaliated very strongly, the officials said. Reports said on Saturday Pakistan resorted to heavy shelling and firing along the LoC in the Mankote, Khadi Karmara and Gulpur areas.
Ceasefire violations were also reported on Thursday, Wednesday and Tuesday from the Poonch sector, officials said. The year gone by has witnessed highest number of ceasefire violations by Pakistani troops in the last 15 years.
