SRINAGAR, Jan 8: Hitting out at Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti over her garbage remark following resignation of various senior party leaders, National Conference (NC) vice-president Omar Abdullah said the people, who were "honest, decent and hardworking" till they worked with her, were dubbed 'garbage' after they parted ways. ill the time they were with her, they were honest, decent, hardworking people and after they leave, they become garbage.
The world of politics is indeed a cruel world, Mr Abdullah, who is the former Chief Minister of the State, said.

Referring to the resignation spree of PDP leaders, Ms Mufti, who was the Chief Minister in PDP-BJP coalition Government, said that her party was 'free of garbage now'. She made these remarks on Monday while addressing a gathering of party workers in Bijbehera in south Kashmir on the third death anniversary of her father and PDP founder Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
