| Director health inaugurates ultrasound , x-ray unit | | |
Jammu : april 28: in its endeavor to provide better and affordable medical care facilities to the needy sections of the society, modern ultrasound and x-ray machines were installed at guru nanak mission hospital, nanak nagar jammu. In a simple and impressive function in the hospital premises which was attended by prominent citizens of jammu.
Director health services Jammu dr sameer mattoo inaugurated the new machines. Speaking on the occasion dr. Mattoo appreciated the services rendered by guru nanak mission hospital in association with khalsa aid international, in the field of medical care and expressed his whole hearted support to management and staff for this pious cause.
dr. Surinder singh presented the welcome address and threw light on the services rendered by the hospital in different fields which resulted in significant improvement in the patient flow in recent times and the aims and objectives of the management.
s. Amarpreet singh, director asian pacific khalsa aid india also spoke on the occasion and pledged his support to the management of the hospital on behalf of the khalsa aid international in achieving its objectives. He also stated that khalsa aid international stand shoulder- to - shoulder with the management and informed that one of their representative s.gagandeep singh is permanently stationed at the hospital to assist the management.

T s wazir chairman management committee guru nanak mission hospital while speaking on the occasion expressed his gratitude to every individual supporting the cause in general and khalsa aid international in particular, in who's association the hospital has made considerable progress to upgrade medical care services. He further stated that the success achieved by the hospital in providing medical care to the needy sections of the society is the result of consistent efforts of the management committee members along with experienced, dedicated and hardworking staff and support of general masses. He expressed his resolve to make it a premier medical institution in the state which would serve poor and neglected section of the society irrespective of cast, colour or creed, as per the teachings of guru nanak dev ji.
