JAMMU, Feb 9: The locals of Bashir Gujjar Basti near 4th Tawi bridge in Belicharana area were up in arms against the district administration of Jammu for their pathetic approach towards the issue of bad roads they have been bringing in their notice time and time again but nothing has been done so far in this regard,they alleged.
Lambasting at the men at helms the furious residents said that it was a matter of shame that under the nose of municipal corporation Jammu we have been commuting on dilapidated roads which causes often accidents due to their bad condition as several roads have developed potholes and ditches at various places while as several road stretches are broken which make bumpy rides and traffic quaos, alleged some senior locals while talking to Early Times.
They have urged in one voice to the district administration of Jammu to take stock of their problems and repair the dilapidated roads before the onset of rainy weather otherwise they have no other way except to come on roads and launch a strong protest in favourof their demand,they further added. |
