BJP's 'Mein Bhi Chowkidar' campaign draws flak in Jammu
3/18/2019 12:48:43 AM
Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 17: BJP's 'Mein Bhi Chowkidar' campaign, which is seen as its counter offensive on the Opposition which had attacked the Prime Minister Narendra Modi over this name, has drawn a flak especially in J&K, where BJP's brief marriage with PDP ended in an unceremonious divorce. While all BJP Ministers and senior party functionaries added prefix 'Chowkidar' to their names on their Twitter handles, people in Jammu are questioning the vigil of party's 'Chowkidars' in the state, who used close to four years of 'Chowkidari' to earn peoples' antipathy rather than their trust and assurance. Many of the 'Chowkidars' were caught napping when the PDP got grave anti Jammu orders passed in the State Cabinet and when they came in the public domain, the 'Chowkidars' confessed to be sleeping. 'Chowkidars' were even instrumental in posting officers of 'proven record' at positions of importance in civil and police administration so that they could 'assist' them in their 'Chowkidari'. There is huge anguish against the so called 'Chowkidars' of the BJP in J&K, who over...
