Kashmir based candidates get extension, Jammu candidates ignored Discrimination with Jammu in contractual engagements 6/26/2019 12:18:25 AM Early Times Report Jammu, June 25: The state Higher Education department has been accused of discriminating with Jammu candidates in contractual engagements. The locals said that while Valley based candidates were given extension, the Jammu candidates have been ignored. The Jammu based candidates informed Early Times that the yearly session of Kashmir division for engagement of contractual faculty members in the colleges was from 1st March to 28th of February, while the session in Jammu division was from August 1 to 31st of July every year. In Kashmir division the advertisement for reengagement of contractual faculty is to be announced in December every year and the process has to be completed till February but under a well planned conspiracy, the Kashmir based candidates were given extensions rather than holding fresh engagement process. The first extension to the Kashmir based contractual faculty was granted from 28th of February to 31st of March while on 30/3/2019, the Kashmir based candidates were given second extension from 30th March 2019 to 31st of July 2019.
