| BJP leaders always bartered Jammu's interests for petty gains: Cong | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 8: On the last day of the campaigning for the Jammu- Poonch Lok Sabha seat, former Minister and senior Congress leader Yogesh Sawhney along with senior leader of the party today addressed series of public meetings in Jammu East.
Addressing these corner and public meetings, former minister Sawhney appealed to the people to vote for Congress and said that it is the only secular force acceptable across the country and has emerged strong because of people's support He said that BJP leaders have always bartered Jammu's interests for their petty personal interests and reminded about cross-voting episode.
Cautioning the people against evil designs of BJP, he said that except exploiting sentiments of the people BJP has done nothing for the development of Jammu city.
He cautioned the people against the forces of exploitation, who exploit the people on the name of religion & region for vote bank politics and urged the people to vote in favour of Congress-NC coalition candidate Madan Lal Sharma in the ensuing Lok Sabha Elections. |
