`Omar shielding failures in the garb of Art 370'
4/8/2014 11:36:55 PM

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 8: The Chief Minister is banking on twisted lies to salvage the potential downfall of National Conference. Omar is joined by his father and Union Minister Farooq Abdullah in demonizing BJP over Art 370.
The fact is that BJP in its manifesto has literally toned down on its stated position of abrogation of Art 370. They had in its manifesto talked about of having discussion with all the stake holders over relevance of this article. It was clearly stated when Modi addressed two rallies in the Jammu.
The BJP is striking moderate tone with special reference to the J&K. However, this is much to the discomfort of the National Conference. The party had always tried to project BJP as an enemy of both the Muslims and people of the Kashmir.
It has deliberately created this gap between Kashmiri people and the mainstream India so as to enjoy power by putting itself as the only agency which can act as a bridge. This is the reason it has always said that BJP is trying to abrogate Art 370.
The Chief minister has gone a step ahead by saying that if BJP calls for the abrogation of the art 370 than it would have to talk about the accession of the State also.
The NC is deliberately raking up this issue so that politicking in the valley doesn't move to his failure of the governance especially on the death of more than 110 people in the 2010 violence,.'
Omar knows that it will be test of his politics and governance and it befool people and conceal the real issues in tradition NC style, he is attacking BJP on the issue which doesn't have any substance.
