Azad among 5 Crorepatis contesting from Kathua | Prof Bhim, 3 ors have liabilities worth lakhs | | Sumit Sharma JAMMU, Apr 8: Thirteen candidates, having qualification ranging from 5th standard to Post Graduate, are in fray on Kathua Udhampur constituency seat, contesting in the 2nd Phase of Jammu and Kashmir Lok Sabha Election. However, as per data, prepared on the base of self sworn affidavits of all the 13 candidates, reveals that five candidates out of 13 have been analyzed as Crorepatis, contrary to this there is one candidate who has asset below Rs 26 lakh . Further, three candidates have declared their liabilities worth lakhs. Among five Crorepati candidates an Independent candidate has been declared as the richest. Going by the financial data of the candidates, the candidate namely Anil Kumar Gupta (IND) has the assets of more than 5 Crore. The Congress candidate Ghulam Nabi Azad falls in the serial number two of the Crorepati candidates. He has assets of more than 4 Crore, while as BJP Party's candidate namely Dr. Jatindra Singh has assets of more than Rs 3 Crore. The Bhartiya Bahujan Party's candidate y Girdari Lal has declared his assets as more than 2 Crore and BSP's candidate namely Dharam Pal Balgotra declares his assets of more than one Crore. Three candidates have declared their liabilities worth lakhs. They included Anil Kumar Gupta (IND) who has more than Rs 17 lakh liabilities. Professor Bhim Singh (JKNPP) has liabilities of more than Rs 14 lakh and Dharam Pal Balgotra (BSP) has declared his liabilities of more than Rs 11 lakh. A total of 4 candidates have declared assets less then Rs 10 lakh. They included Anil Khajuria (IND) who has declared Rs 25 thousand as his total assets, Rs 50 thousand plus assets have been declared by Nazakat Hussain, an Independent Candidate, Sham Lal of ALL J&K Kissan Majdoor Party has assets of Rs 8 lakh plus and Jagdish Kumar (Jai Maha Bharath Party has assets more than Rs 8 lakh. Meanwhile, a total of 8 candidates have declared their income tax details and out of which four candidates have declared a total income of more than Rs 10 lakhs. Contrary to the candidates contesting for Jammu Poonch constituency seat, one woman, out of 13, is contesting for 2nd phase of Jammu and Kashmir Lok Sabha Election. The thirteen candidates who are contesting in the 2nd Phase of Jammu and Kashmir Lok Sabha Election have been named as Anil Kumar Gupta (IND), Ghulam Nabi Azad (INC), Dr. Jatindra Singh (BJP), Girdhari Lal (BBP), Dharam Pal Balgotra (BSP), Mohd Arshad Malik (JKPDP), Bansi Lal (IND), Prof. Bhim Singh (JKNPP), Amrit Barsha (SP), Jagdish Kumar (JMBP), Sham Lal (AJKKMP), Nazakat Hussain (IND) and Anil Khajuria (IND). |
