| GDC R S Pura awaits website updating | | | Shiv Thakur
Jammu, Apr 11: Not settling in line with advancements in the educational system, administration of Government Degree College R S Pura , in deep slumber, seems nonchalant to accept the wake up call which can be well gauged from the fact that it has not updated its website since long.
However, it not hidden a fact that notes are being provided to the section dealing with websites of the college but absence of any authority at helm to raise objections, the section has become sedentary and has shed its responsibility of maintaining the same.
According to updates available with Early Times, former principal Anita Sudan was transferred in January ending this year and joined Government Maulana Azad Memorial College (Govt MAM College) and even after a lapse of over two months, the college section dealing with the websites has not updated the website of the college.
Rohan, B.Sc Computer Science undergraduate said that in the era of computers application, the negligent attitude of the college authorities to update its website is showing how responsible they are to the interests of the students?
Another student of Arts namely Arti Devi said that private colleges and their students are excelling in different fields only because of the use of internet technologies whereas in her college, the website is awaiting its update and described it as a reason for the lagging behind of students of Jammu and Kashmir. |
