PDP rejects MLA's theory behind his worker's arrest 4/11/2014 11:50:09 PM Javaid Naikoo SRINAGAR, Apr 11: Opposition PDP has meanwhile rejected the explanation extended by the NC MLA that the youth in question was arrested as he attacked a policeman and tried to snatch his weapon. Denying his hand in arrest of youth, Mubarak Gul had stated that the youth namely Bilal Ahmad Kuchay of old city tried to snatch the weapon of one police personnel and also tattered the uniform of another police man. "I have nothing to do with his arrest personally, he has been arrested by police for an illegal attempt of snatching weapon and tattering uniform of a police personnel," said Mubarak Gul. While as according to PDP leader Khursheed Alam 'out of frustration due to the overwhelming support which according to him PDP has managed to gain over the years across the Kashmir in general and in NC strong hold Srinagar in Particular, NC leadership is allegedly now employing harassment tactics against youth of Srinagar who want change and who raise their voices against the failures of Ministers of NC in their areas. "Instead of fulfilling the promises, NC leadership has made with people time and again, people like Mubarak Gul ahead of forthcoming Lok Sabha elections out of threat of defeat with big margin of votes across the Kashmir by the hands PDP candidates have started harassing those who raise their voices against them for their failures to even address genuine problems of people," said Khursheed Alam. Meanwhile, when contacted incharge police officer of Noorbagh Police station, Moha-mmad Amin said that they arrested one youth only after police received a complaint from one National Conference leader namely Ghulam Mohammad Lone against one Bilal Ahmad Kuchay of old city for attacking on Mubarak Gul and registered an FIR No 57/2014 against Bilal Ahmad Kuchay.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
