Mahajan, Waffa seek vote for Malik | | | Early Times Report
Reasi, Apr 11: The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has alleged that the Government schools in Mahore Tehsil lack adequate staff which has badly affected the studies of students, while the area was lacks adequate supply of ration. Senior leader Ved Mahajan and State Secy Hussian Ali Waffa while addressing election meetings and seeking vote for PDP candidate Arshad Malik at Jig Bagli area of Mahore said that populace of villages of the hilly Tehsil are facing shortage of Ration. They also observed that various government schools in the area are facing shortage of teaching staff affecting the studies of the students. Duo alleged that the labourers engaged under the MNREGA scheme are also being denied the payments for the work done which has evoked strong resentment among the people. PDP leaders leader further added that the people of the area they visited the local inhabitants are facing severe shortage of basic amenities including electricity, roads, education, medicare and drinking water. They said that most of the villages in the area are without electricity supply. They said a road under construction in Bagah Gulabgarh for last 20 years under PMGSY has not been completed till date. They appealed the public that this time they must vote for the change and send PDP candidate to Loksabha so that their state of plight may be brought into the notice of central govt. |
