APMCC announces religious pilgrimages calendar-2014 | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 15: The All Parties Migrants' Coordination Committee (APMCC) today announced its Yatra calendar for the year 2014 in which the historic Kousar Naag (Kramsar-Vishnupaad) yatra is also being organized for the first time after decades. Announcing the yatra calendar the yatra coordinator of APMCC Amit Raina today said that the Kousar Naag Yatra from Kashmir side has been added to the yatra calendar of APMCC which will be conducted for the first time from Kongwatan side after decades. "The yatra will be organized on Naag Panchami from July 30, 2014 to August 3, 2014 the details of which will be given later, he added. Raina also announced the dates for the other regular yatras of APMCC like 6th annual yatra for Historic Harmukh Ganga (Gangbal) Yatra 2014 at the mountainous North East Harmukh Range, 14500 ft above sea level. "The yatra will be conducted by Harmukh Ganga (Gangbal) Trust (HGGT) sole trust for Gangbal yatra and APMCC jointly from August 31 to September 4, 2014 for which the registration will close on May 12 adding this year the yatra will have the registration fee of Rs100/- only for smooth yatra, he added. He said that yatris for Gangbal will have to reach Zeshtha Devi Temple for onward journey by the evening of August 31st positively. Others yatras on APMCC calendar include Mata Katyayani Ji Yatra at Kakran village of Kulgam tehsil, 2nd Annual Dyneshwar yatra to Dyneshwar Cave of lord Shiva in Kaloosa Bandipore, he said and added aspiring pilgrims may contact Rattan Lal Bhat president SMT on 9797488449. |
