4/15/2014 10:58:07 PM
Early Times Report

New Delhi, Apr 15: Whole electoral process for displaced Kashmiri Pandits at Jammu, Udhampur, New Delhi and other places seems to be all an eyewash and just a formality because it is very cumbersome for migrant voters to run from pillar to post to complete all hard formalities before going to polls.
This was stated by Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC while addressing his party activists at New Delhi. He said that even name of KP voters or of their parents in voter lists are wrongly entered and also many displaced KP's are missing from voter lists. KPC chief apprehended that possibility cannot be ruled out that these polling stations created for KP migrants at Delhi, Jammu, Udhampur could be utilised for bogus & wrong voting for the parliament candidates of Kashmir valley by certain vested interested people.
He advised his community voters to out rightly reject all those political parties of the state who are directly or indirectly responsible for their exodus, kept them ignored and isolated for longer period, made false promises, showed green pastures and adopted lollipop policies for ill-fated KP community.
He also appealed Election Commissioner of India as well as to concerned Assistant Returning Officers(ARO,s) of Jammu, Udhampur and Delhi for migrants namely, Sachan Dev Singh , Ranjeet Singh , S.K Fotedar respectively, who are in charge of thirteen electoral booths created for migrants, not to allow any sought of bogus voting at these polling booths to defeat the wrong intentions of self interested elements.`.
