Ramban, Apr 15: Asserting alliance candidate Ghulam Nabi Azad has contributed a lot in eliminating the miseries of masses, the senior Vice President J&K PCC and former minister Abdul Gani Vakil today appealed electorate of Udhampur Lok Sabha Constituency to avail golden opportunity of getting their respective areas developed by casting their valuable vote in favour Ghulan Nabi Azad. "Azad has already proved himself by contributing a lot in eliminating the miseries of masses in this hilly constituency to a greater extent, Vakil said that creation of Ramban, Doda, Kishtwar Districts cannot be ignored in this behalf. While addressing a massive public rally in Ramban after leading an impressive road show, Vakil also cautioned people against falling prey to divisive politics and informed them that Azad Sahib is a selfless leader of J&K State. He reminded gathering of the achievements of Azad led coalition government in state and said his tenure as chief minister is golden era cited series of historical decisions like creation of eight districts, implementation of Roshni Scheme, construction of Yatri Niwas, Haj House, and Legislature Complex to substantiate this claim. Taking a dig upon PDP, former minister said when developmental activities were in full bloom in entire state PDP felt insecure of Azad's popularity and prioritized its own political interests rather than giving peace and prosperity a chance to flourish. Further citing example of sanctioning of five new Medical Colleges, Cancer Hosptials for the State which depicts the commitment of Ghulam Nabi Azad for this State, Vakil said that Azad Sahib is committed to protect and prioritize interests of the state. Addressing the gathering MLA Ramban Ashok Kumar also urged people to cast their valuable vote in favour of Ghulam Nabi Azad for development and prosperity of the State. |
