Jammu, Apr 15: Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan (BLSKS) presented cultural program Baisakhi Festival at old Historical temple at Mansar in coordination with the ESRM to celebrate the Autism Awareness week today. The program was inaugurated by the Divisional Commissioner, Shantmanu, IAS , V K Nagotra, Former Regional Director of Directorate of Field Publicity ,Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Govt of India, Jammu . Vijay Malla, Renowed Director Producer, K L Verma, Romesh Chander, Cultural event organizer were guests of honour. The camp started with lighting of the traditional lamp with the aim to draw attention to individuals and families living with Autism and Vector borne diseases include Malaria, dengue icishaminises and treatment. Dr Tara Singh Charak, former Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Udhampur was the resource/expert person at this camp in which artists from Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan and others presented program in coordination with the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department at Tourist Park Mansar, Apart from this artists from Ek Sath Rang Mandal a presented Variety program of various cultural Folk form of Jammu and Kashmir. Earlier welcome address of M L Dogra ,Chairman ,BLSKS gave a brief account of activities undertaken by the organization. |
