PDP only viable alternative to corrupt system: Choudhary 4/15/2014 11:20:42 PM Early Times Report Anantnag , Apr 15: Seeking vote and support for party candidate from party's Parliamentary candidates from Udhampur and Kashmir region People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader and Co-ordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that PDP is the only viable alternative to corrupt system. He urged people to get rid of this corrupt system and send credible people to Parliament. Choudhary Hamid was addressing a gathering at Shangus, Anantnag in Srinagar which was chaired by party patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. He said that a visionary leader like Mufti Sayeed had floated the PDP only to give people a viable alternative. People, he said in return pinned all hopes in the party and made it rule for three years during which maximum good works were done. It was because of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed's pro-people policies that those three years remained matchless and are still remembered. During that era, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, he said ensured that complete transparency and accountability is established in the system of governance and it was also because of such policies that appointment letters were distributed out in open to let people know who the credible were. Choudhary Hamid said that only PDP can bring back that era of good governance where people of all three regions were involved in development activities and powers were decentralised. He urged people to send credible people to parliament and not fall a prey to false promises being made by coalition candidates.
