Udhampur , June 9: Five people were injured when a Tavera car they were travelling rolled down into deep gorge at near Champari in Chenani tehsil Udhampur district. According to the reports, a Tavera car bearing registration no. JK03C-1711 was on its way from Kashmir to Jammu. Near Champari on National Highway Tehsil Chenani the driver lost the control over the vehicle that rolled down into deep gorge. Chenani police rushed to the spot and took the injured persons to sub district hospital Chenani.
The injured persons were identified as Govind Singh, Bowen Singh son of Ram Singh, Rita Devi wife of Govind Singh, all residence of 186, Sector 11 Partap Bihar Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh and driver Shah Nawaz of Qazigund Kashmir. Chenani Police has registered the case and further investigations are on. |
