Early Times Report

JAMMU, July 27: As Political parties these days are announcing their candidates for the forthcoming assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, highly placed sources confirmed that massive bargaining involving lakhs of rupees between authorities having voice in political parties and expected candidates is going on these days.
Sources said that as political parties are carefully announcing their candidates to grab every opportunity of success, however some old faces who were defeated by their rivals in previous assembly elections are using old tactics of bribing concerned office bearers to get tickets for 2014 assembly elections.
"Every political party is divided in to lobbies and candidates who fear that they may not be given ticket to contest assembly elections are paying arround Rs 40 to Rs 60 lakhs to the people whose lobby they follow and they turn advocate for their mandate in meeting with higher ups of the parties."Sources said
Sources also said that mostly old faces of political parties who had earned crores of rupees over the years by using all the evil and foul means actually gain over new faces at the time getting a mandate as they does not mind to go any limit of paying lakhs of rupees as bribe and get the ticket to contest elections once again.
"In many constituencies where there are two to three expected candidates besides one old face, only one candidate who has either won consecutively in previous assembly elections or has a strong voice in the party due to strong lobby in the party get mandate with ease, while as for rest of people only money makes the magic and fulfill their dreams to contest elections." sources added Sources confirmed that at present in many constituencies where there are two to three candidates bargaining process has already began and expected candidates are willing to pay in between Rs 40 to Rs 60 lakhs to get mandate to contest upcoming assembly elections.
Some noted faces in political parties whose voice matters according to sources are known for such tactics to advocate their close ones and motivate higher ups of the party to get mandate for the people who had already paid them huge sum of money are at work these days and many expected candidates of Central, North and South Kashmir who were
denied mandate earlier verbally due to the poor performance are now a day's hopeful to get mandate for upcoming assembly elections .
