JK Montessorie celebrates Janamashtami 8/16/2014 11:49:29 PM Jammu, Aug 16 : J K Montessorie Sr. Sec. School today celebrated the festival of janmashtami, the birthday of "Lord Krishna" with religious values, gaiety & enthusiasm in the school premises here today. Teachers taught the students about significance of the day in the morning assembly with the prayer of "lord Krishna" followed by the colorful" Program presented by the students of different classes. JK little Millienium play way school affiliated unit of JKMS also celebrated Janmashtami Little Kids were dressed in colorful costumes depicting roles of Krishna & his beloved Radha colourful Rasleela and " Dahi handi " were the main highlight of this function. The small kids display their talents on the stage a heart throbbing program. The main objective of holding this function was to inculcate the religious values among the people and also was embodiment of love and brother hood. After having light refreshment the students participated in " Matki Phod" programme , students from all classes participated in this programme . The best performer & challenge chaser were appericiated by the management of the school.
