8/16/2014 11:59:22 PM

Bivek Mathur
Jammu, Aug 16: Taking cognizance of an Early Times' Report carried in the local daily on June 20 titled "Access Call Center-a school of duping, lone bread earner of family denied three months' salary; shown fake attendance sheets; intrigued with fabricated cases", Asst Labour Commissioner Office Jammu as well as Jammu bench of State Human Rights Commission (SHRC) have registered case against the same call centre.
The case has been registered allegedly for depriving a poor employee of his three months' salary benefits. As the SHRC, J&K sans chairman and members, it has registered the case promising issuance of notice to the owner of the call centre after appointment of Chairman and members whereas the Asst Labour Commissioner office has registered the case on August 14 and shall issue a notice to the owner of the call centre on 28 this month.
The deceived employee Vijay Mankotia of Nud, Samba has filed a copy of Early Times carrying the news item with an application before the Asst Labour Commissioner Office Jammu and State Human Rights Commission's Jammu bench on August 14.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Early Times has carried a news item in this regard on June 20. According to the report Vijay, who joined the call centre on January 29, 2013, worked there till March 2014 and then left the office following some urgent work at home, rejoined office after some days. Following the set rules of office, he completed a preliminary training period of six to seven days when he was promised his last salary after another month of job. Completed with the one month period of job, when he claimed his one month salary, he was again asked to wait for another month. Somehow, he borrowed money from a friend to run the family affairs and worked in the call centre from March 31 to May 8. After this three months' period when he further asked for his salary, he was asked to quit the office intriguing him in fabricated cases.
Later, Early Times had called the HR of the company Rajveer Kour telephonically over the issue who had promised to pay the three months' salary to Vijay after verification of some documents but when the deceived had gone to the office, he was further humiliated and threatened for sharing the details with Early Times.
