BSP expresses concern over flood situation in state | | | Jammu, Sept 6: Bahujan Samaj Party's (BSP) National General Secretary and Member Parliament Rajya Sabha Narinder Kashyap took stock of the situation of the people of the state affected due to heavy rain and floods in the whole of the state and expressed serious concern over the situation. After taking meeting of the executive body and party workers from different parts of the state Kashyap has said that more than 72 people washed away in the flood and property worth crores of rupees has been damaged. Connectivity of the thousands villages has been affected. Kashyap visited some of the villages situated on the bank of the Jammu Tawi and met the people affected the flood and shown affection with the people went houseless due to flood and water has entered in their houses. Kashyap said the way damaged has been caused and people went houseless and have no shelter it is very painful to see the people in such a situation. He appealed to all the parties workers, leaders, NGO'S and self help groups to come forward and work with the state government agencies to meet with this situation. |
