Bishnah, Sept 6: Expressing concerns over the plight of the flood affected people, Senior Congress leader Mohinder Bhardwaj today during his visit to flood affected areas of Bishnah urged the state government and revenue authorities to immediately assess the loss to flood affected people to compensate them immediately He said, "Many houses in the Tehsil have collapsed and people are forced to take shelter in Government schools at Kanhal and Chak Jarala localities. Demanded immediate relief to the aggrieved families, he urged upon the authorities to make necessary arrangements at the schools where the victim families have been lodged. Bhardwaj, also visited flood affected villages namely Chak Jarala, Patyari, Kanhal, Dabbar and main Bishnah town for an on-the-spot assessment of the people's plight and the losses suffered by them. He further added that aggrieved farmers should be provided at the earliest so that the farmers do not face starvation.
