'Satyam Cement and Steel' sends off relief material for flood victims | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Sept 10 : Well known name in the field of industry, 'Satyam Cement and Steel' initiating helping hand towards the flash flood victims of Kashmir send off relief material from Kathua on Wednesday. In a simple function organized by Satyam Cement and Steel partner Devinder Verma in the Industrial area, SSP Mohan Lal graced the occasion as chief guest who fulfill the formality of sending off truck loaded with the relief material. Whereas, Lalit Aggarwal, Naveen Pratap, Ashok Bamba and Daljeet Singh were among the others present from industrial management. Expressing his views to the media persons Devinder Verma expressed shock over the loss of human lives, property, infrastructure, standing crops and live stock in the entire state of J&K due to unprecedented flood caused by the continues down pour of incessant rains. Lauding the efforts of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, Devinder Verma said that prompt action taken by the Prime Minister himself to access the flood situation, loss of lives and property is a recommendable job. He also appreciated the role on Indian Army and other forces, which are carrying out relief operation in the worst situations. "We cannot reach the affected area and help out victims however by providing relief material in such conditions we can help out our nationalists to much extent", Verma added. Appreciating the efforts of Satyam Cement and Steel SSP Mohan Lal said that industry is sending 7200 water bottles and 12000 breads for the victims as relief. Lauding the efforts of Devinder Verma and his associates SSP Mohan Lal, expressing deep sympathy and solidarity with the flood victims appealed all NGOs and other social organizations to come forward to extend help to the affected people in rescue, relief and rehabilitation measures taken up by army, State and Central agencies. |
