150 Gujaratis’ trapped in valley floods, say kins | | | Kathua, Sept 10: Family members and kins of traders from Gujarat state presently residing in Kathua today while praying for atleast 150 members of community trapped in flood fury in Kashmir today demanded their rescue at earliest. While speaking to media persons at Kathua, the family members of trapped Gujarat based cloth vendors including Byanti Lal, Susa Ram, Sabita, Kavita and many others have urged the state as well as Modi headed union Government to take some immediate measures to rescue them. "They said that near about 150 members of our families who are the cloth vendors in Kashmir are being brutally trapped in floods and no information of their whereabouts so it is our request to the Narinder Modi who Prime Minister of India is hailing from Gujarat state to help and rescue these persons from Kashmir's flood fury," they said. The agitated family members in Kathua today said, "Some laborers families hailing from Gujarat have been working as cloth vendors in Kathua and some of their relatives are also doing the same business in Kashmir since long. |
