JKPCC announces funds to Nowshera | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Sept 22 : Chief spokesperson of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) and MLC, Ravinder Sharma today assessed the damage caused to the houses, crops cattle and also monitored the arrangements being made by the district administration after the devastating floods and rains in a visit to the sub division Nowshera. During the visit Sharma met section of people of Dharat, Seri and Dabbar areas and listen to the ordeals. "The people projected problem of electricity which has not been restored due to damage of electric transformers, poles wire etc.," he said. Sharma however proclaimed to provide funds from his MLC's CDF for augmentation of power supply in the area. He also provided funds for upgradation of electric transformer at Morah Talla, Panchayat Dharat. "The people of these areas have complained about non availability of APL rations as they are already facing tremendous hardships for want of basic amenities of life," he said. Meanwhile Sharma urged the concerned authorities to ensure availability of APL ration apart from free ration in all the flood affected areas of Nowshera and Sunderbani
