Rumor in air | No shifting of BCCI matches: Chairman JKCA | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 22: Denying all the rumors, Arvinder Singh Mickey, Chairman JKCA stated in a press statement that no BCCI match have been shifted to any other state. He clarified that all the matches which were scheduled for Jammu shall take place in Jammu as scheduled. He said that only two matches of Vijyant Trophy which were scheduled for Srinagar have been shifted owing to unfortunate flash floods in Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium. He further said that a meeting is to be held in this regard for the non shifting of the same and to appeal for the reconsideration of the decision of shifting the matches of Srinagar by BCCI . He added that Ranji trophy matches starting from 7th of December 2014 shall be held in Jammu on the scheduled dates and venues. Pertinently, he appealed to the Cricketers as well as their parents not to fall prey to rumors and false propaganda being spread by some vested interested. |
