| SGRGS organizes function to celebrate Gurta Gaddi Diwas | | | Jammu, Oct 20: Shiromani Gurmat Ragi Granthi Sabha (SGRGS) in association with District Gurudwara Committee, Jammu today organized a religious function at Gurudwara Fathe Singh, Gandhi Nagar to celebrate Gurta Gaddi Diwas.
On the occasion large number of Sikh devotees paid obeisance at the Gurudwara. The occasion was graced by the Ragi Jatha of Onkar Singh (Una Wale) and Pracharak, Sucha Singh (Patiala Wale).
The function was organized under the supervision of SGRGS, chairman, Kulbeer Singh and Harbans Singh. The Pracharak, Sucha Singh threw light on the history of Sikhism. While as Ragi Jatha enthralled devotes with the hymns of Shri Guru Granth Sahib. SGRGS is a registered organization working for the upliftment of the poor and deprived. Chairman of the organization said that they have organsied this function to celebrate Gurta Gaddi Diwas. He said their organization is bearing the educational cost of several poor and deprived students and requested people to contribute for the betterment of the community. |
