AIBCU criticizes State Government | | | Jammu, Oct 20: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) has criticized the state government for sanctioning of relief package for refugees, after a prolonged delay of 67 years. According to press release, in a meeting of the union that took place under the chairmanship of its president Jenab Abdul Majid Malik, the matter of approving Rs. 9096 crores package for Refugees of West Pakistan and displaced person from some sector in 1965 - 1971, was discussed. "After sixty seven years of independence, refugees were left to suffer like noman's matter. If this decision could be done now why not it could happen many years back. It was the deliberate attempt of both Congress and N.C who did not allow the justice to flow. State Govt. had only to recommend the case to the Central Government and nothing had to give from their own pocket but did not do so because these political people do not want any welfare of the common people. This act of sending recommendations for the refugees is only after the defeat of Congress & N.C in the just concluded Lok Sabha elections has compelled these Political Parties to take such actions. Govt. withdrew the wrong Recruitment policy just after Lok Sabha elections including the re-implementation of the SRO-43", they said. They further said that Congress & N.C has not solved the issue of due share of 27% of the State OBCs and the Congress & N.C are deliberately stopping the natural flow of justice to the State OBCs by playing fowl play on the name of OBC Advisory & Development Board. |
