NCP releases manifesto, list of contesting candidates | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 23 : Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Sunday released manifesto of the party and also the list of the candidates who are contesting in the assembly elections. In the manifesto, the party also talks about development of agriculture, highway, infrastructure, air transport, telecommunication and a comprehensive vision for the youth. Addressing the media persons, President Thakur Randhir Singh said NCP avows to be a party with difference. It has made its presence felt in the state in the last fifteen years since its formation. It has created a niche firmly rooted value based politics, highly balanced approach and reaching out to the remotest and neglected corners of the state. "NCP also will support selectively the independent candidates of integrity and had accordingly worked out the strategy in this regard," he added. While, Choudhary Dev Raj Founder President Sarpanch Association and President Basmati Rice Growers Association of J&K leader joined NCP with his followers from Kathua to Poonch. State President has welcomed Dev Raj and his followers in the NCP and conveyed him the welcome message from Sharad Pawar National president NCP who has approved his candidature from Suchetgarh and approved his name for appointing him Chairman NCP Kissan Sabha J&K state and member of the state working committee with immediate effect. The candidates names were declared in the list are Kamal Gupta (Jammu west), Gulam Mohammad Pal (Chadoora), Nazir Ahmed Bhat (Zadibal), Iqasumar Bhat (Habbakadal), Saifullak Khan (Kupwara), Mohamed Shafi Naz (Gulmarg), Dev Raj (Suchetgarh), Bhaari Singh (Bhaderwak), Bhajan Lal Totura (Chammb), Vijay Kumar Atri (Samba), Aizaz Hussain Naik (Kistwar), Gourav Kapoor (Gandhi Nagar), Sandeep Singh Manhas (Marh) and Krishan Kumar Digra (Bishnah). |
