Jammu, Dec 15: General Secretary of Jammu & Kashmir Amateur Kabaddi Association Kuldeep Kumar Gupta told informed that the selection trial of Senior Men and Women will be conducted from 18th to 20th Dec.2014 at 3 P.M. at Green Field Gandhi Nagar Jammu.
According to press release, president of the Association Anil Gupta has directed all the affiliated Districts and Clubs of the State to send their registered Players (Men & Women) of State Association for trials of Senior State teams which will participate in 62nd Senior National Kabaddi Championship to be held on 14th to 18th January 2015 at Tirucengode (Tamilnadu).
Moreover, Gupta advised all the registered Players in Men and Women section of the State to bring their Voter Card, or Adhar Card or Passport during the trials and only eligible Men below 80 Kgs and Women below 70Kgs weight are eligible for trials which will be conducted under the supervision of General Secretary of the State Association. The teams will be selected by the Selection Committee headed by Kuldeep Kr. Gupta - Chairman, MS Baba - Convener, Dinesh Gupta, Co- Convener, Rakesh Sharma- International Player, Sangram Singh-Member, Vijay Dhar- Member, B.S. Tirthi- NIS Coach and Ajay Gupta -NIS Coach.
Ongoing Inter Collegiate Kabaddi (Men) Competition, PG dept beats GDC Kathua

Jammu, Dec 15: In the finals of the ongoing Kabaddi (Men) Inter Collegiate Tournament 2014-15 held at University Sports Stadium, University of Jammu today, P.G. Depatment lifts the trophy of the said tournaments in a very close contest with GDC Kathua.
Prof. Dhian S. Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu distributed the trophy among the winner and also congratulated the players of Govt. Degree College Kathua for their brilliant performance in the tournament.
P.G. Department beat G.D.C Kathua by 7 points (38 – 31). The Matches were officiated by Ankush Gupta, Keshav Singh, Harpreet Singh, Ankush Sharma, Aman Deep Singh. The tournament was organized by the Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu. All the matches were conducted under the direct supervision of the Prof. Dhian S. Bhau, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu.
Among others Dr. Brij Baloria, Raj Kumar Bakshi, Dr.Balwinder Singh, Physical Director, GDC Kathua, Ravish Vaid, Vikas Karlopia, Gagan Kumar, P.D. Singh, Jai Bharat, Vikesh Sharma, Goutam Sharma were present on the occasion. |
