Forgets NC has ruled JK for years together

Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Dec 15: A day after 4th phase of polling ended in 16 assembly constituencies in Kashmir, senior National Conference leader, Dr Mustafa Kamaal today claimed that it is for the first time in the past 60 years that no "Indian agency has backed any candidate."
Talking to a local news agency Dr Kamaal said, "2014 Assembly elections are a watershed moment in the history of Jammu and Kashmir as no Indian agency interfered or tried to back any candidate in these elections. This thing has happened for the first time when no Indian agency interfered in poll process in Jammu and Kashmir. In 2002, Indian agencies played an active role and backed several candidates and ensured their victory."
It seems Dr Kamaal has forgotten that NC has been ruling Jammu and Kashmir for the years together and his assertion that Indian agencies used to back the politicians proves that NC too was backed by these agencies during all these years.
An expert while talking to Early Times mocked at Kamaal's statement and termed it "childish." "Nobody takes him (Kamaal) seriously anymore as he doesn't know what he is talking. During the past six years his elder brother Dr Farooq Abdullah had to apologize on many occasions for his senseless statements. The Chief Minister Omar Abdullah had to cut a sorry figure at many forums when he was asked about his uncle's (Dr Kamaal's) foolish statements," the expert added.
A politician wishing not to be named said that Dr Kamaal wants to remain in news and for the sake of hitting the headlines he utters "nonsense." "Dr Farooq Abdullah and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have failed to rein him and let him speak whatever he wants. Sometimes he (Kamaal) targets Army and sometimes the intelligence agencies. He has made it a routine. He doesn't understand the dynamics of the Kashmir situation and acts like an immature kid," the politician added.
