 Jammu, Dec 15: Making dig on Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) and its leadership who now running away from their decades old rhetoric's of Chief Minister(CM) from Jammu division and Hindu.Senior Congress leader and Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, Sham Lal Sharma today has questioned their wisdom while ruling out Jammu's popular aspirations to see Hindu Chief Minister after 67 years asked whether BJP would mean Jammu people lacks claimant for next Head of State government. He was reacting on BJP top leader's public statement on appointment of Hindu CM who stated, "Religion and region is not important but the vision and personality of the candidate is important". Addressing election meeting in remote villages of tehsil Akhnoor, Sharma invited BJP leaders to see themselves, how the concept of development redefined by him during his 12 years tenures while provided roads connectivity, electrification, Education, Health, Drinking water supply and above all given administrative units such as Sub District Chowki Choura, Developmental Block, Niabat at Rah Salyote, Ghar Majoor and Kathar.? Sham Lal Sharma reiterated, "His struggle is on two fronts need Jammu popular support one to seek justice for them, other to fulfill their aspirations to demand Hindu Chief Minister." He exclaimed, BJP has humiliated the wisdom, virtues, talents, intellects and competency of entire Jammu masses to escape from Hindu CM issue with suggestion Chief Minister appointment's requisites includes vision and personality, which politically mean Jammu does not have any visionary and personality to match BJP's criteria of next CM. Reminded BJP that whether Pandit Prem Nath Dogra Ji and Dr. Shyma Prashad Mukherjee has sacrificed for the sake of BJP joining Separtists for the sake of power at the cost of nationalist Jammu people, as people wanted to know what happened to their slogan of: Ek Samvidhan, Ek Pardhan," the ploy to exploit for 67 years Jammu masses.
"Congress alone can guarantee Jammu's distinct political identity, and Regional Development Councils to be one step ahead towards seeking Jammu rightful dues, urged upon them since Congress to lead next government, Jammu people to prepare for RDC elections within one year; popular mandate to their candidates to dump BJP once for all", said Sham. |
