Army public school Damana bags national award 12/19/2014 10:57:21 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 19: Army Public School Damana has been awarded by the CEE Ahmedabad for National Level Paryavaran Mitra Puraskar Award for one of the best schools in the country for carrying out activities of Paryavaran Mitra Hand Print. According to press release, Nirmal Sharma, Secretary School Education, RA Inqlabi Director School Education presented this award to Green Brigade teachers and a group of students of the school at IIPA conference Hall. Dr CM Seth Chairman WWF India applauded the school's efforts in keeping the environment clean, green and healthy. He also appreciated 'The Reaching Out to Community Awareness Programme' of the school with special reference. He motivated the students to work for sustainable development. Principal of the school, Dr Renu Gupta said that award was an Impetus for the school to continue its excellent performance in the years to come.
