JAMMU, Dec 19: University of Jammu (JU) today announced its team for participation in the North Zone Inter-university (women) Hockey Tournament to be held at Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak from December 22 to December 27.
Accompanied by Ruchika Sharma and Charanjit Singh as coach and manager respectively, the selected team shall depart for the venue tomorrow.
Earlier, the team interacted with Director Sports and Physical Education, Prof. Dhian Singh Bhau. The Director was briefed about the prospects of the team by hockey coach, PD Singh, who supervised the fortnight long coaching camp of the selected probable.
